Prof. Muhammad Anis Khan  joined Cadet College Petaro in 1988 as Lecturer of Urdu and is currently Professor and Head of the Urdu Department. 

He was born on 10 April 1954 at Larkana, and got married to Mrs. Rubina Begum on 24 February 1990. They have seven children – 5 sons and 2 daughters, including Burhan kit no. 2009131.

Prof. Anis Khan completed his M.A. in Urdu Literature in 1976 from the Sindh University.

Prior to joining Cadet College Petaro, he worked as lecturer in Urdu at Cosmopolitan High School in Hyderabad.

He was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor in 1996 and as a full Professor in 2010. Anis Sb has been the Head of Department of Urdu since 1994.

He has held several positions at Petaro in addition to his academic responsiblities. He was the House Master of Latif House from 1995-1999, and House Master/Divisional Officer ofQasim House from 2002-2009. Prior to that, he was the Assistant House Master of Ayub House, Latif House and Qasim House.

He has also been the Officer In Charge for Football, Sports Officer 1999-2002, Officer In Charge of the Urdu Section of the College Magazine The Cadet, and Officer In Charge of Urdu Debates and Declamation.

On the administrative side, he has been the Chairman of the Purchase Committee, Member of the Academic Council, Member of the Contract Committee, and Officer In Charge of Trips and Execution.
